South Shore Select Expands to North Shore, Elevating Regional Youth Soccer with the Select Difference
New Region to Continue Club’s Focus on Holistic Player Development and Community Engagement
South Shore Select is proud to announce the official launch of Select North Shore as an expansion region. The expansion aims to extend the organization’s reach and impact into new territories, offering unparalleled opportunities for young athletes in the North Shore region.
Led by a team of esteemed professionals, Select North Shore is poised to uphold the same standards of excellence, integrity, and commitment to player development that have defined South Shore Select. Liz Lima, CEO of South Shore Select, is excited to announce this expansion as a significant milestone reflecting the dedication to providing top-tier soccer experiences for youth.
Spearheading this initiative is North Shore Executive Director Stephen Harris, whose vision and leadership have been instrumental in guiding South Shore Select to its current prominence. Born and raised in Salem, Massachusetts, Harris has a network of connections on the North Shore and will ensure seamless integration of the culture of excellence established by South Shore Select.
Select North Shore’s Regional Director, Dr. Dina Gentile, brings a wealth of experience in youth sports administration, soccer education and coaching on the North Shore. Gentile is dedicated to providing unparalleled support and resources to players and families.
The leadership team also includes Candice Dangora, who joins Select North Shore as Director of Coaching. She is a seasoned professional with a Master’s in Education who is renowned for her innovative approach and commitment to player-centric development. Dangora’s expertise will drive the implementation of cutting-edge training methodologies tailored to the unique needs and aspirations of Select North Shore athletes.
Steve McAuliffe, Executive Director for South Shore Select, expressed his enthusiasm about the new expansion, stating, “We are thrilled to bring the Select difference to the North Shore. This expansion is not just about growing our presence; it’s about enriching communities and empowering young athletes to excel both on and off the field.”
