Select Soccer Club Launches Select Southeast to Elevate Youth Soccer Across Southern Massachusetts
Bridgewater, MA — March 3, 2026 — Select Soccer Club, one of New England’s premier youth soccer organizations, today announced the official launch of Select Southeast, a new regional hub serving communities across Southern Massachusetts and the South Shore.
Select Southeast represents more than expansion. It reflects the club’s commitment to bringing the Select standard — defined by excellence, consistency, and player-first development — to communities that are deeply important to the people who make Select what it is.
The region will serve families in: Bridgewater, East Bridgewater, Whitman, Hanson, Halifax, West Bridgewater, Raynham, Easton, Middleborough, Lakeville, Abington, Rockland, Taunton, Norton, and Berkley.
Programming will be centrally located within the Bridgewater–Whitman–Easton corridor to ensure strong local presence and accessibility for families across the region.
Investing in Community. Elevating the Game.
Select Southeast will be led by Moe Elshazly, Select’s Technical Director and one of the club’s longest-standing leaders. Elshazly coaches the highest levels of programming within the organization — a role that will continue — while also guiding the Southeast initiative.
Having been with Select for over a decade and having volunteered his time within local town organizations, Elshazly understands firsthand the impact that a structured, high-standard program can have on young players and the broader soccer landscape.
“This is about opportunity and investment in community,” said Elshazly. “My family and my kids grew up in this community. I know the talent that exists and the passion families have for the game. Bringing the Select standard here means giving kids access to professional coaching, a consistent development model, and a culture that raises expectations.”
Select Southeast will be supported by a carefully curated group of experienced coaches and community leaders aligned with Select’s curriculum and development philosophy — ensuring that the same expectations and standards apply from day one.
Strengthening the Select Ecosystem
Select Southeast enhances the broader Select network while preserving the integrity of its flagship regions on the South Shore and North Shore, which will continue serving as performance centers within the organization.
“This is disciplined growth rooted in values,” said Steve McAuliffe, Executive Director. “We are not altering the Select experience — we are extending it. Our goal is to maintain consistency and excellence while bringing our model into communities that are ready for it.”
Current Select families will also benefit from expanded programming options and additional training opportunities across regions — all within one unified structure.
“Our mission has always centered on developing players and strengthening communities,” added Ben Kluvers, VP of Regional Growth. “Select Southeast allows us to deepen that impact by building meaningful partnerships and introducing our development philosophy to more families earlier.”
Why Select Southeast
Select Southeast will operate under the same integrated development model that has positioned Select as one of the region’s most respected youth organizations, combining age-appropriate curriculum design, professional coach education, and clear long-term player pathways from foundation to performance levels.
