Select Announces Affiliate Partnership with the Rhode Island Strikers

Select Soccer Club, one of New England’s most established and trusted youth soccer organizations, proudly announces an affiliate partnership with the Rhode Island Strikers FC. Beginning with the 2026–2027 season, the club will be rebranded as the Select Rhode Island Strikers — a move that strengthens the development pathway for players and coaches across the region.

This collaboration brings together two organizations deeply aligned in purpose. Both Select and the Rhode Island Strikers share a commitment to providing a positive, challenging, and supportive environment where players and coaches can reach their highest potential. The partnership combines the Strikers’ focus on creativity and player-centered development with Select’s proven framework for long-term growth, opportunity, and excellence.

A Shared Vision: Growth, Character, and Community

The Rhode Island Strikers’ mission — to create a positive and creative environment for advanced players to improve their skills through top coaching, excellent facilities, and structured year-round programming — directly complements Select Soccer Club’s mission to develop strong, confident, and well-rounded athletes who demonstrate integrity, respect, dedication, and passion both on and off the field.

Together, these clubs aim to elevate the youth soccer experience in Rhode Island by fostering not only technical skill but also teamwork, sportsmanship, and a commitment to growth.

Enhanced Pathways for Players, Coaches, and Families

Through this partnership, Select Rhode Island Strikers players will gain direct access to Select Soccer Club’s ECNL and ECNL Regional League pathways, opening doors to elite competition and national exposure. In addition, Strikers coaches will benefit from ongoing collaboration with Select’s technical and coaching leadership, including access to professional development sessions, educational programming, and strategic integration into Select’s technical and operational systems. This connection ensures alignment in philosophy, methodology, and culture—creating a cohesive development experience across all levels of the club.
